What has happened in March

We have had some small developments happening this month. Though it is not much compared to previous months, we have some interesting things to share, so let’s take it from the top.

As you know, we have been talking about some new UI for HoE. Sinek had some of that UI ready, so instead of waiting, we had it pushed into the game.

Even though it took a while before we had the time to implement these changes to HoE, those UI features are visible in the new build, so you all could see the progress.

It is far from pretty since it still needs a lot of work. However, these changes are a significant improvement to our current UI.

We also fixed some issues with the Options system, which was giving us problems with the Login and MainMenu. Now the key-bindings, windows-resolution, and sound settings all work again!

At the same time, we have started to add some other small fixes into the game. As you might know, we made a Trello board for suggestions and ideas that were made by you in the community. One of those suggestions was fixing the health bars on the towers. So now the health bars on the towers are only showing if you are in a certain range of the towers.

We also added a dissolve function for the Heralds. So each time they die, you will see a death-animation playing, and afterward, they will dissolve. Which actually makes more sense if you think a little bit about it.

Some other good news is that Uruzet and John are finally done with all 16 Heralds and Hair, so that means our next task is to move them into HoE, so these new models can replace the current ones we are using.

A task like this can sometimes be very easy, but we assume that it is not going to be easy, it hasn’t been easy for us in the past, so we are making sure to be careful with the implementation.

Incredible work guys. You two (Uruzet & John Barhoum) have been truly a big help for us, and we do hope to see more of your wonderful work in the future.

Also, we wanna give a huge shout-out to our newest member SpacePanda.
Welcome SpacePanda, and we are all so glad that you could join the team.
SpacePanda has been watching us from the sidelines for a little while, but we finally got him on the team. SpacaPanda’s job is mainly to help Sinek with the UI for Login, MainMenu, and Lobby.

But his other task is also to make a Logo for Vivanox(VX). A VX logo redesign has been long overdue, so don’t be surprised in the near future if you see some of those changes happening.

We also had our “Contact Us” section set up and working again on our website, so this means those who wanna get in contact with us or apply for a job, are welcome to do so.

That’s it for this time
